Official visit to Kuching, Sarawak
As part of the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Hungary and Malaysia, H.E. Attila Káli, Ambassador of Hungary to Malaysia recently headed a delegation during an official visit to Kuching, Sarawak.
CHANGES IN THE REGULATION OF PLANTS AND PLANT PRODUCTS BROUGHT INTO THE EU
After 14 December 2019 all plants for planting (e.g. potted plants, seeds, propagating material), fruits (e.g. apples, hazelnuts) and other plant products (e.g. wreaths, fresh herbs) can only be brought into the EU with a phytosanitary certificate from countries outside the European Union even in your personal luggage.
Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited Malaysia
A business delegation organised and led by the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI), comprising 12 companies, visited Malaysia.

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad attended a gala dinner here to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and Hungary.
Official visit of the Hungarian INPUT Programme
Business development manager of the Hungarian INPUT Programme, Mr. Dániel Vincz paid an official visit to Malaysia from the 11th to the 17th March 2019. The INPUT Programme, which is supervised by Hungarian Ministry of Innovation and Technology, is a 5 year programme targeting ICT specialized startups and among other things facilitates in exposing Hungarian Startups to the international markets. During his visit, Mr. Vincz was accompanied by two Hungarian fintech companies, which gave the opportunity to introduce new Hungarian ideas and innovations to the Malaysian stakeholders.
