On the 22nd of October, on the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the 1956 Revolution and Freedom Fight we hosted a national day reception, graced by The Honourable Datuk Ts. Mustapha Sakmud, Deputy Minister of Higher Education as Guest of Honor. Ms Katalin Böszörményi-Nagy, CDA in her speech emphasized the parallels between Hungary’s and Malaysia’s positions on the international stage, and their sincere effort to build peace and security through pragmatic, respectful cooperation. H.E. Dr Sándor Sipos, Ambassador-designate presented the Pro Cultura Hungarica award to Associate Professor Dr Tamás Kiss, honoring his unwavering commitment to serving his country through education, culture, and international cooperation. Professor Dato' Dr Elizabeth Lee, Sunway Education Group CEO made an announcement which represents a significant milestone in the partnership between Hungary's and Malaysia's higher education institutions. Our guests enjoyed the flute and folk song performances by Ms Virág Németh, the poetry recital by Ms Hazelynn Rimbar, and the violin performance by Ms Helga Sédli. The Malaysian Teqball Association performed a presentation of the sport which was invented in Hungary.
