Today we had the honour to welcome the Undersecretary for Europe, Ambassador Abu Bakar Mamat at the Embassy, to discuss strengthening our bilateral collaboration. On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the reopening of the Embassy of Hungary in Kuala Lumpur, Ambassador-designate Dr. Sándor Sipos touched upon wide-ranging topics on Hungary–Malaysia bilateral relations, including scientific ties dating back to the 19th century, as well as prospects of the future. HE's briefing was followed by a tree planting ceremony, symbolizing growth, longevity, friendship, and a shared commitment with the participation of Wisma Goldhill Senior Building Manager, Mr Nik Amizan Nik Yahya. The event generated a lively interaction between the Ambassadors and the participants, thus creating positive sentiments, and paving ways for more engagements in the future. On behalf of the entire diplomatic mission, we wish to express our gratitude to the Wisma Goldhill Management for their stewardship and hospitality in hosting our Embassy premises for the past decade.
