On 8 October 2026, our Embassy, in cooperation with the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), organized the first Christian–Muslim Interfaith Dialogue between Hungary and Malaysia, bringing together Hungarian and Malaysian religious, academic and diplomatic representatives to share their thoughts on topics related to faith. The event also featured the opening of Hungarian artist Gyula Luczner’s calligraphy exhibition and a display of works by Lóránd Laczi and Nasarudin Ahmad depicting mosques and churches in Hungary and Malaysia.
