The Consular and Visa Section hereby informs you that from the 1st of February 2019 consular and visa fees can only be paid through bank payment and in Malaysian ringgit (MYR or RM). From that time on, there will be no possibility to make cash payments at the Embassy.
Bank payment can be made via bank transfer or cash payment at a Maybank branch.
The bank transfer payment would only be accepted if and after the correct amount was credited on the Embassy’s bank account.
As proof of your cash payment at a Maybank branch, you need to produce the payment slip at the Embassy.
In default of payment, no application for visa or legalization can be processed, the already opened visa or consular case is cancelled.
Before the payment, you should make an appointment through telephone or email when you should specify what kind of service you are going to apply for and in what quantity so that the exact fees can be communicated to you. Please do not make any payments unless you are requested to do so.
In order to prevent incorrect or unidentifiable payments it is highly recommended to make the relevant payment via cash payment at the Maybank branch after you have your case opened at the Embassy or you received in email the exact amount to be paid.
Address of the Maybank branch nearest to our office: Maybank, Wisma Genting
28, Jalan Sultan Ismail
50450 Kuala Lumpur
