The Government of Hungary has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Malaysia in regards to the cooperation of higher education. The MoU was signed by H.E. Attila Káli, Ambassador of Hungary to Malaysia, representing the Government of Hungary and YB. Dato’ Seri Idris bin Jusoh, Minister of Higher Education, representing the Government of Malaysia.

 

The signing of the MoU is an initiative in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries. The close ties and cooperation will continue to open more opportunities for the two countries to be directly involved in new forms of cooperation in the field of higher education.

 

 to further their studies in Hungary, with the first Malayisan students to begin their studies at Hungarian universities in September 2018. The fields of study offered are agriculture, water engineering, architecture, cultural heritage studies, natural science, environmental science and health sciences. The Scholarship Offer will open wide space for Malaysian students to pursue higher education in Hungary. The application process will begin within a few days.

 

The two sides expect more exchanges of experience and expertise in scientific, technical and administrative fields to be implemented between higher education institutions of both countries.

 

The MoU's implementation is also expected to facilitate the recognition process of universities in both countries.
