The Embassy of Hungary in Kuala Lumpur had held an Exclusive Concert – an Evening with Zoltán Kodály on the 5th September 2017. This concert was organized to commemorate Zoltán Kodály who was an outstanding artist with international reputation, a triple Kossuth Prize winning Hungarian composer, musicologist, music educator, ethnomusicologist, member and president of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

We were delighted to have the presence of Mr. Imran Abdullah, Undersecretary of International Relations Division from Ministry of Higher Education to be our guest of honour for the concert. Also, we had the opportunity to witness a few performances and a short lecture by Ms. Katalin Körtvési and the students from Poco Academy. It was truly an honour to have her as she has graduated from Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Music Education and Choral Conducting in 1992.

Moreover, the Embassy of Hungary would like to thank our official partner – Poco Academy who had been in partnership with us to make this concert a smooth and successful event. We couldn’t have imagine doing it without the help of Poco Academy.
